The project for the new headquarters of the Architect's Space at CAU/RS, which won 1st place in the National Interior Architecture Competition, organizes fluid and multifunctional circulation around a central core of wooden brises, combining flexibility, privacy, and the celebration of Brazilian design elements.
This project won the competition for the new Architect's Space at CAU/RS (a council that regulates the activities of architects in Brazil). The space will serve as a reception, exhibition and meeting area for the architectural community.
The main concept of the project consists of an organic central volume that articulates all uses (inside, outside and around it). The design choices revisit and reinvent many elements of brazilian modernist architecture - from materials, shapes and furniture.
