The interior design project creates a cozy retreat, with simple volumes, natural textures, and a curated mix of Brazilian craftsmanship and contemporary art, reflecting the clients’ desired personality and comfort.
The interior design of Apartment 403 shapes a warm and intimate retreat through simple volumes, natural textures, and a carefully considered curatorial approach. From the outset, the residents expressed the desire for a place in southern Brazil where they could spend their holidays in a familiar and welcoming atmosphere. Constructive elements were translated into refined volumes, simplifying forms and reinforcing the architectural concept, while the double-height ceiling accentuates the perception of these overlapping layers. Textures are employed generously to deepen the sense of comfort.
This sense of warmth also emerges in the selection of furniture, objects, and art. The curation brings together Brazilian handcrafted pieces and contemporary artworks without hierarchy: rustic and refined, classic and current elements coexist in balance, creating contrasts that enrich the space. This composition reveals not only a sense of taste, but a distinct identity, offering a sensitive portrait of the residents and how they choose to inhabit the space.
